Cost, Ethics and Policies

Transparency

This website is aligned with the International Coaching Federation’s expectations to provide transparency around the policies and cost associated with all Corporate Sponsored Coach Training Programs. It can be a complicated journey to seek out training, build skills and experience, and pursue one’s coaching credentials. This page should provide clarity for how CSCT programs help the coach in this journey. Those interested in coach training and credentialing are encouraged to reach out to the director of training, Bryan Hart, if anything is left unclear about the following information.

Attendance Requirements

Students of the program are expected to attend all live sessions, 1:1 mentor coaching sessions and group mentor coaching sessions as part of their completion of the program. Coaches are allowed up to 4 absences of the live sessions for the first half of the Level 2 course and 4 absences for the second half of the Level 2 course. Coaches are allowed 3 absences total for the Level 3 course. If a student expects to be absent, they will need to contact their trainer ahead of time for planning purposes and the student will need to complete the session materials, review the session recording, and complete a coaching session outside of the live session in order to practice the concepts that were covered in the missed session.

In the case of extended illness and emergencies that require the participant to miss more than the allowed absences, we ask that the participant inform their trainer as soon as reasonably possible to arrange making up missed sessions with an alternative cohort or transferring to a different cohort if needed. No additional cost would be incurred in this case.

Partial Completion and Transferring Cohorts

Coaches who are only able to complete a portion of training–due to medical exceptions, family emergencies, work-schedule changes, etc.–are encouraged to transfer into a separate class time or future cohort to preserve their progress through the program. Coaches are expected to work with their trainer to determine how to best maintain their progress during the transition time.

Coaches who are not able to continue the course, but have been able to complete a significant portion of the course (at least 30 hours of training) are eligible for a partial completion certificate. Coaches are expected to work with their trainer to make arrangements accordingly.

Withdrawal and Refund Policy

  • Participants who are not satisfied with a CSC Training program are allowed to drop from the course at any time.
  • Those who withdraw from the course will not be billed for the remainder of the course.
  • If a participant choose to withdraw from a course, their coach training hours will not count towards their ICF credential and they will not be eligible to receive a certificate of completion.

Level 1/ACC Transfer

Coaches who are interested in participating in only the second half of the program are welcome to apply as a Level 1 or ACC transfer participant. If this applies to you, please indicate your previous experience in the notes section of the interest form here. Transfer participants must be ready to provide proof of their completion of a Level 1 training program and/or their ICF-ACC credential. The cost of participating in the second half of the training as a transfer participant is $2000 (10 hours mentor coaching included).

Organizations who would like to have Corporate Coach Training LLC support a specialized cohort of coaches who have already earned their ACC credentials with the ICF or completed Level 1 training programs can also engage in 24 sessions and 10 hours of mentor coaching dedicated to preparing for the PCC. If desired, these custom cohorts may focus even more on Competency Sessions (Sessions 1-6, 13-18, and 37-42 with a mix of sessions focused on training coaches to use certain tools from an ICF competency perspective). Custom organizational transfer programs would need to be co-designed with the Director of Training, Bryan Hart.

Level 3 Prerequisites and Transfer Policy

Coaches must hold a PCC credential with the International Coaching Federation in good standing to be accepted into the Level 3 program. No other prerequisites are required for inclusion.

Because of the focused work of the Level 3 Coach Training Program (pending ICF Approval), no transfer credits are accepted.

Complaints and Feedback

Feedback and even complaints about any CSCT programs are welcome. Corporate Coach Training LLC seeks to make coaching more globally accessible, and if there is something about the program that can be improved it allows us to reach the goal of helping people experience coaching. Please direct feedback to the Director of Training, Bryan Hart, MCC.

Inclusion

All CSCT programs are designed to serve all people. We believe the coaching process itself bridges gaps between people’s lived experiences and helps build a more empathetic and caring world. We recognize that the process of being trained as a coach and receiving feedback on your skills as a coach can be a deeply personal experience. It is our commitment as an organization to provide a data-driven approach to feedback which acknowledges the valuable impact a coach might make with their client while also recognizing patterns and specific behaviors that could be improved as part of the coach’s development. We have a commitment to helping coaches feel supported rather than judged while being treated equally as we all pursue bettering our skills as coaches together.
